VIRTUAL – Intro to Home Defense

These days, locking the door at night simply doesn’t provide us and our loved ones enough protection from the threat of intruders. With over two burglaries occurring in the US every minute, it’s clear that we need to take action, create a response to break-ins and ideally prevent them from happening in the first place. Our Intro to Home Defense course gives homeowners the information they need to increase the overall security level of their homes. Over the course of the 90-minute virtual session, we’ll explore various aspects of home security including:

• Making your home appear less attractive to potential threats
• Doors and windows
• Alarms, cameras and lights
• Keeping threats from entering the home
• Preparing a household response to intrusions
• Having a firearm for home defense
